All six players in attendance:

19 June: Barter to get eight light horses: The group offers the mule and the plate armor from the chaos minions. Vincent offers the last of his gems. Roderick offers spells (create food and various cures). Aramil offers veterinary assistance. Kesi opts not to receive a horse as she can run as fast (or faster) than a horse.

20 June: Leave the village and head up river.

21 June: As the party continues up the river (making very good time), Kesi's staff starts to glow. It gains in strength as the day goes by, but does not get directional.

22 June: At the mid-day meal break, the party is attacked by a swarm of Blink Frogs and a Hydra. Later, they reach the Songan gate and discover that it has been breeched - which explains where the Hydra came from.

Lashmere touches the waters of Songan for the first time and draws the attention of several lake serpents…
