+On the night before reaching Marsvan, the party made camp on a dark and
+unseasonably hot night.  There, they met a wandering fighter named [["Neville"]].
+After a brief (and unusual) conversation((At one point, Neville said,
+"But if you close your eyes, does it almost feel like nothing changed at
+all?" -- a phrase that meant nothing to the party at the time)), Neville
+jumped up and ran off to join an "invisible" fight occurring nearby.
+Before the party could react and/or join the fight themselves, a group
+of Dretch Demons swarmed into the camp.  The party managed to destroy all
+but one of the demons -- the survivor shape-shifted into a winged demon
+who promptly turned invisible and flew away.
+When Neville returned to the camp, he declared enthusiastically that he
+"knows what to do now" and promptly left.  A brief attempt was made to
+follow him, but it seemed as though he vanished into thin air.
