Vault: On the heavy iron door are the words (in elvish): Name the one whose bow never errs and who fights with a star. If the name "Corellon Larethian" is said, the door will begin to glow and if any evil creatures or undead are in the vicinity they will be shot with a 20d6 bolt of fire (figure it as a 3rd level spell from a 20th level spellcaster). If this is the case, then the door will not open. Otherwise, the door will smoothly open revealing:

An aged human male sitting cross-legged wearing a simple robe, a belt, a shoulder bag, and carrying a long staff. This is Tsylaire, the wanderer, a semi-divine servant of Corellon whose purpose it is to search the world for the new Ainagûl. He will thank those who released him, speak very little, and then walk off in a random direction.

Also in here is a complete library of archaic tomes and scrolls. (See next page).

The library has 73 books, librams, and tomes as well as nearly 500 scrolls.

Among the books are:

  • Alterations of the Intrinsic Absolutes by Math
  • Libram of the Great Paravisual Emanations by Nystul
  • Arcane Puissance of the Memory by Rary
  • Mental Impressions of the Retina by Johydee
  • Doors and Passages of Parallel Worlds by Lethchauntos
  • Epic Saga of the Great Conjurers by Mordenkainen
  • Life of Nature, its secrets by Caligarde
  • History of the city of Pleven by Queen Coris
  • An Anthropological view of the lesser evils by Aladar
  • The healing points - A Biology text for humanoids by Aladar
  • Herbal Guide
  • History of the city of Wisewood
  • The prayers of the Elf Fathers
  • Combat History of the Orcish Battles
  • Book of Exalted Deeds
  • The Book of the Map by Bar (*)

(*) This book has a plain leather covering with the symbol of the wizard Bar on its cover. It is locked with a simple lock that cannot be opened in any way known. Even the elves could not figure how to open this.

Among the scrolls are:

  • Scroll: Protection from Demons
  • Scroll of 3 spells: Push / Lightning Bolt / Remove Curse

Also here is the following: A metal plaque of ancient origin with the following poem carved into it in elvish:

Piercing bright and razor sharp
Will awake in time.
With them comes the sister harp
To sing of the rhyme
Of the end of the worlds,
The birth of a new.
Shall Kelva's might be unfurled
To battle evils two.
Mancu Rilmaeg, the bright
Rûklil, the slayer:
From Cyrillus, their might
Will come to stay here.

On a similar plaque is another poem:

The greatest battle time has seen,
The proudest warrior man can be,
The quickest elf in forest green,
The stoutest dwarf the mines will see
Must gather all the power good
And battle on the Lake of Blood.
The three await in sleepless slumber
Whilst storms and death awake in number,
So seek the resting place of night
And there in mist will lie the might.
