Member of the council of wizards whose specialty is the magic of life. He has carried out numerous experiments in his past which have had adverse effects on his subjects. He altered Neville's mind, giving him tremendous innate psychic shields, but at the cost of his intelligence. In 1102, he successfully grew Erin, the first of his four artificial children, but when his experimental children came with the unexpected side-effect of rapid aging, he abandoned his research and has devoted all of his efforts into reversing their aging process. He lived on an island off the coast of Pleven until his death in 1119. In his later years, he made some (mostly failed) efforts to recolonize the island.
