Heilli Mund

Player Character in the V2 Campaign. Human Soulknife.

Heilli (HIE-Lee) is the twin brother to Líkami, with both of them possessing some sort of weapons-free combat. They are essentially indistinguishable from one another, even after considerable conversation or observation. They continuously challenge each other to contests of strength or speed or thought, to keep each other sharp. From racing up a steep hill to trying to remember every word that contains all the letters O-D-I and N, they are always in friendly conflict.

Heilli has spent a certain amount of time at Southbay, learning the ins and outs of that particular wretched hive of scum and villany.

Heilli is a practicing vegetarian, and just returning to civilization after a long period of isolation; although not particularly religious, he wears a holy symbol of a black raven, similar to his brothers, and a plain monk's outfit.

Unfortunately, with the collapse of the shipbuilding industry, Heilli finds himself without work and with minimal funds. Desperation leads, as it is wont to do, to adventuring.

After spending time with Heilli and Líkami, the other members of the part begin to notice that Heilli appears to have no real emotions … most of what he does that seems emotional is clearly an affectation (and a little Perform). The only real exception is his gratitude when someone helps his brother, where he shows genuine feeling. Any potions given to Likami are returned as quickly as possible. Whether this lack of emotion has to do with his Psionic Focus or a personality defect isn't really clear at this point.

Experiencing Likami's death at the hooves of a skeletal horse (adventure 11) fundamentally changed Heilli's mindset; he spent much of his time attempting to discover how to destroy them using his mental blade, eventually learning to forge a link to the Positive Material Plane which harmed undead (Prestige Class–Illumine Soul). More and more, the Party sees this 'hatred' of undead as Heilli's only emotion; as he has grown closer to Likami, their exchanges have changed little from the day they were orphaned.

As the characters spend more time with Heilli, they find that his priorities in life are:

  1. Protecting His Brother
  2. Making more money, which he appears to spend in Southbay as fast as he can
  3. Learning more about his central thesis, Mind Over Body
  4. His own survival
  5. Learning to do without physical objects

With his twin, Líkami, Heilli shares the following special abilities:

Heilli-Likami Twin Power Progression

4 Status Take 1hp damage for each 10hp other twin takes
