Gammage was a mountain lion companion to Sorgul, sent by Bast to assist the priest in his earthly adventures. He served alongside his master until 1093, when Sorgul was killed and returned as the demonwraith known as Solgar.

After Solgar's transformation, Gammage's fate was lost to history. It is presumed that he died under the Dark Mage's storm cloud sometime in the 1090's.
