These hills serve as a natural barrier between the Mosamor Marsh on the west and the Elder Woods on the east. They also serve as a buffer between the Marsh and the civilized areas of Southern Rota, especially the Dafin River that connects Roundtree to Southbay.
The hills are home to numerous small tribes of Goblins and Orcs, though both the Fey to the east and the Lizardfolk to the west seem to keep these tribes in check.
