The Elder Woods are an ancient growth of forests just south of Roundtree in Southern Rota. It is home to a large number of Fey and is considered off limits by ALL nearby races.

The trail connecting Roundtree with the Halfling lands of Shalrock runs along the edge of the Elder Woods and has generated numerous stories of abduction (and worse) by the Fey. However, some believe that these stories are purposely exaggerated by Shalrock and the elves in the Omina Forest in order to dissuade Humans from expanding east.
