  • Discuss what to do at the Keep…
  • …And what to do with the glowing evil rock
  • They use the Sending Stones to contact Kuriz and tell him that the Keep is secured and to please send wagons.
  • Rather than risk spending more time in the Keep, they decide to take the rock with them – but its weight (and evil) makes that impractical
  • They bury the rock and then establish a campsite about 50 feet away
20 Dec 1129
  • They receive a message from Kuriz that Politics have slowed down the caravan and there will be a 2-day delay
  • After more discussion, it is decided that the risk of the Keep is minimal, so they return there to do a more detailed inventory of the loot there
23 Dec 1129
  • The caravan from Thodon finally arrives – but none of the party's allies are with it.
  • Instead, a councilman from the Silver Assembly, a Half-Elf named Launsin, is in charge
  • He brings with him a writ from the Assembly that the Keep belongs to the city of Thodon
  • The party disagrees
  • Regardless, after some heated discussions, it is decided to return to Thodon to plead their case
25 Dec 1129
  • The caravan arrives back in Thodon
  • The party appeals to the Silver Assembly and a meeting is scheduled
26 Dec 1129
  • A negotiation occurs. Thodon and the party agree to the following:
    • Thodon will pay the party 18,000 go for their efforts at the Keep
    • The party can keep any treasure they liberated from the Keep
    • Thodon will be the legal owners of the Keep
    • The part will be granted naming rights – with Thodon retaining a right of first refusal on the name
    • Thodon will allow the party to use the Keep as their base of operations free of charge
    • Thodon will provide the party with a percentage of any profits that the Keep produces
  • In a separate deal, the Assembly sells their remaining 75% share of the party's building in Thodon for 6,500 gp
  • In the end, the party nets 11,500 gp
Dec 1129 to Apr 1130
  • Norm serves his three months service to the cleric Martine
  • Q gives Norm a small statue of Boblin as a rememberance
  • Q has started his project of establishing a Goblin Embassy in Thodon
  • The party has spent time getting their building ready for occupation
  • Norm get Tan a Scroll of Scorching Ray
  • Tan spends time scribing scrolls
  • Tan starts to organize a library in Thodon – and hires a manager
  • Skullcrusher, the Goblin King thrives under the guidance of Q (aka “Emperor Booyagh”)
5 Apr 1130
  • Martine tells the party that she has found out that the cursed spear they found in Session 10 was crafted by a “crazy wizard” named Azigin.
  • This same wizard made the stake that the necromancer Eryn now wields
  • Azigin died around 1100 and is buried in Graniskali
  • Since the party had visions about a graveyard in Graniskali, they decide that has to be their next destination
15 Apr 1130
  • After tying up loose ends, the party is finally ready to head to Graniskali
  • They opt to spend the night in Sketiklif
16 Apr 1130
  • They meet Roger, the Farmer outside of Graniskali
  • In the ruined town, they are greeted by “The Chamber of Commerce” – a group of Bandits who are collecting tolls from passerbys
  • However, before they discuss what the toll might be, one of the Bandits (a Scout named “Therese”) opens fire with her bow – shouting that “These are the assholes who killed Mathias!”
  • A battle erupts! The Bandits quickly disperse, but a group of five Trolls take their place.
  • In the end, the party is victorious and Therese is captured
