Having met the “MiB” in the previous game, the Rose City Five have further contact with Quantum's left hand. Now identified as the Qua, they inform us that the threat posed by the alien hunters is still active. The party confronts the MiB and is fed a shell game by Colonel Bronson.

The ensuing fight with six MiB goes poorly, but Shimmer completes the mission by killing the last alien hunter while Lady Paladin hijacks the alien craft and uses it to bargain for the group's release.
