Resurrect Osahar, who tells them that demon activity is spiking around the world (though mostly at Neroth, Kevin Arcana's stronghold.

The party travels to the nearby portal and finds that the Arcane Guard have abandoned it. Without any gems, they (and several merchant caravans) are unable to use the portals.

Soon, however, the portal activates and a large number of aggressive, fast-moving zombie-like demons flood out in all directions, led by a “Pit Fiend”. After a prolonged fight, the party is eventually victorious and decides they must take the fight to Neroth.
