Having become disillusioned with AD&D, our group leapt to Fantasy Hero starting around 1985-1986. This was my first full campaign using Fantasy Hero rules and it inspired the “magic change” storyline that came to have such a huge impact on the stories in subsequent campaigns (most notably, Voyager).

This campaign started around 1986 and lasted until 1988, with a couple of additional sessions in 1990.
