As the party observed the Werewolf Bandit camp, they saw two people leave, a man and a woman. They moved to intercept and a fight broke out when the teams met. The male bandit, Elias, tossed a ceramic jar to the ground. When it broke, a Cambion was released – who was magically under his control. However, he was not careful with his commands and the Cambion was reluctant to follow his orders. This made the fight lopsided and the party quickly subdued the two Werewolves and befriended the Cambion, whose name is Eldana.

Due to her nature, Eldana is suspicious of the party. Tuotatm cast Detect Thoughts on her and was able to probe into her memory, where he learned that she worked for the Queen in Red and was able to “see” part of the runes around her teleportation circle in the Underdark.

She responded with a Dominate Person, but later dropped it when she needed to shift into a more friendly human form with a Alter Self spell.

Despite the party's desire to keep the captives alive, Eldana killed the female Werewolf, Kaitlyn. But after some discussion, she agreed to leave the male alive.

An hour later, when the effects of the “Iron” Flask had worn off, the party interrogated Elias. He tells them about the bandit leader, a Werewolf named Marseius, and that a strange-looking human named Rabrin gave Marseius two “Iron” Flasks – one of which contained the Cambion.
