+Despite taking the cult leader, Ivlis, captive, the party decides there may be more trouble (and
+treasure) waiting for them back at the caves -- so they return to the Shrine of Evil Chaos (Cave K).
+Down the stairs from the Altar room, they find a group of rooms above the Shunned Cave (G).
+In the first room, they find four cultists and a brief fight erupts.  But since the cult
+leader is missing, the four are easily convinced to stand down.  The three "regulars" are released,
+but the cell leader, a Gnome named Weltra (whom the party met in [[immenri_11|session #11]]) is taken captive.
+Down some more stairs, the party finds a crypt with a sarcophagus.  When disturbed, a Wight jumps out
+and a fight erupts.  After it is destroyed, the party notices that the wight was created from the body
+of the original Ivlis, whom the Doppelganger replaced.
+With the mystery of the cult (mostly) explained, the party decides to dispatch the Owlbear
+farther down in the Shunned Cave.  Luckily, they find it asleep and make short work of it.
+Beyond the Owlbear, a pair of Oozes are destroyed and some more treasure is found.
+Further exploration reveals that the Ogre, Oggdug, has left the cave complex - as have the Goblins
+and the Nothic.  They kill a Giant Spider in the Goblin cave and a Gelatinous Cube in the Hobgoblin
+cave.  The latter is enough to convince the Hobgoblins to leave the area without a fight.  (The price
+for their safe passage, though, is that they have to leave their treasure behind).
+Satisfied that the cave complex has been cleared out, the party takes the Gnome cultist, Weltra, back
+to the Keep - where she is thrown in a cell next to the Doppelganger.
