Aasimar – You are essentially a Human, and only an expert can tell the difference.
Dragonborn – You are an outsider who has travelled a long distance to be here. Your home region is far to the south of
the main continent, so this climate is
much colder than you are accustomed to.
Dwarf – While there are Dwarves on this continent, they live far to the east, so you are likely to be a colonist.
Elf – If you are indigenous, you are “Grugach” (a “Wild” Elf). For game purposes, this is the same as a Wood Elf.
Also, as I am still a little old school, Drow are impractical as a PC race. The original description (from Gary Gygax's Module G3) says, “they dislike bright light. They will not venture forth into daylight except on the cloudiest, gloomiest days.”
Gnome – You are a colonist. There are no known Gnomes on this continent.
Goliath – You are indigenous. You are also essentially a tall Human, and only an expert can tell the difference.
Halfling – You are a colonist. There are no known Halflings on this continent.
Human – Anything is possible.
Orc – You are probably indigenous, but more and more Orcs from the Main Continent are traveling the portals these days.
Tiefling – You are essentially a Human, and only an expert can tell the difference. No horns!
