==== The Scepters (Dark Mage's and the Demonwraiths') ====

The [[Dark Mage]] crafted a group of magical scepters in the second age.  One
for himself and one for each of his [[Demonwraiths]].  They are an integral part
of the creatures souls and if parted from their scepters, they are weakened.
The [[Dark Mage]]'s scepter is the master scepter and when it was destroyed by
the Good Party in 1104, the other twelve scepters also discorporated.  This
event caused the [[Dark Mage]] to quest for the [[evil_trio|evil Trio of
Might]].
