== 17 Dec 1129 ==
  * After a short rest, Norm has regained his voice
  * The full party returns to the Keep to see if they can get to the Fortress
  * After studying the lay of the land, they decide to approach the Fortress via the west wall
  * They open the doors to the Western Guard Tower and discover that it appears to have been undisturbed since the fall of the Keep 30 years earlier
  * Taking fire from [[https://www.dndbeyond.com/monsters/skeleton|Skeleton archers]] on the Fortress, the party makes it to the North-West Great Tower
  * From there, they assault the roof of the Fortress and kill many Skeletons
  * They take the stairs down to the ground level and fight numerous [[https://www.dndbeyond.com/monsters/zombie|Zombies]]
  * Among the Zombies, they fight "The Advisor" (a [[https://www.dndbeyond.com/monsters/greater-zombie|Greater Zombie]])
  * Also, a [[https://www.dndbeyond.com/monsters/specter|Specter]] floats up through the floor and observes the party during the fight.  It flees when Norm blasts it with a [[https://www.dndbeyond.com/spells/magic-missile|Magic Missile]]
  * After killing the Zombies and "The Advisor", "The Castellan" and his "Scribe" arrive (via the stairs from below)
  * As he is a formidable opponent and the party's resources are severely depleted, they opt to flee
  * The Castellan does not pursue them and they make it back to the camp safely
  * That night, they observe a green glow from the Keep and see a handful of ghostly creatures flying about the Keep
  * They conclude that The Castellan is reviving his undead minions!
